Exclusive: Interview With – Jairian – The Fast Rising Las Vegas Artist Making Headlines

Q.) What is your name/stage name?

A.) “My name is Jairian pronounced (J Ryan) I changed the spelling of my name once I started making positive/Christian music.”

Q.) Where are you located?

A.) “I live in Las Vegas born and raised.”

Q.) What is the meaning behind your name?

A.) “.”Jai means victory or triumph. Rian means king. We achieve victory through our King.”

Q.) What are your roles within the music industry?

A.) “I write, record & perform but love being a part of the production, engineering & mixing process.”

Q.) What got you into music?

A.) “I fell in love with music at a young age because it became therapeutic for me. I battled with a lot throughout my childhood and music was my escape. Once I felt that I knew I wanted to create music and make others feel the same.”

Q.) What type of music do you make?

A.) “I make positive/Christian/gospel music. More so rap but tap into R&B and country vibes as well. All influenced by the spirit of God.”

Q.) How long have you been making music?

A.) “I fell in love with music at a young age but didn’t really get serious with my craft until 2014.”

Q.) What are you making music for?

A.) “I’m honestly making music to make a positive impact on others. To give others a way out and point them to the true living God. I feel music should be used as a tool to influence others not to break them down and deceive.”

Q.) What’s driving you?

A.) “God. Point blank period. He won’t let me rest unless I continue to walk in my calling.”

Q.) Who are your biggest supporters?

A.) “My family and friends of course but honestly I’ve received a lot more support from complete strangers. Especially in the Christian community and I love it.”

Q.) Are you signed to a label?

A.) “No.”

Q.) Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

A.) “I’m open to all opportunities at this time but am just taking things one step at a time to see where God leads me. I really want to make sure I am in accordance with Gods will.”

Q.) Who are some features you want to get?

A.) “I’m looking forward to one day working with artists like V.Rose, Lecrae, 1kphew and Benjah! Just to name a few but I definitely rock with them!”

Q.) Who’s one person dead or alive that you’d want to work with?

A.) “Probably 2pac. Even though his music was secular I feel his heart was pure and he cared about making an impact on people. Yea, for me, it would definitely be Pac.”

Q.) is there anybody else you want to shout out for any reason?

A.) “Yea, all my supporters and my brothers & sisters in Christ. This walk isn’t easy so I definitely want to shout out everyone that rocks with me because I rock with God!”

Q.) What are you currently working on?

A.) “I’m currently working on a EP and plan to drop each song from my EP as a single individually at different times. It’s a creative project and I am super excited to button it up so I can start releasing more content.”
