Interview With Upcoming Artist:
UnsoundPages
- What’s your name?
Brian Worley/UnsoundPages
- Where are you from?
Alexandria Louisiana/Rome Georgia
- How old are you?
48 years old
- When did you start making music?
When I was around nine years old.
- How serious are you about your career?
Very serious, I love creating music and hearing/seeing how it affects those who listen to it.
- Have you ever thought about quitting music?
Nope! Music has always been apart of my life, and my ability to cope with life. It’s therapy!
- Who inspires you the most?
My father, mother and my sisters inspire me. But as far as musical artists are concerned, I’d say the 80s, 90s and beyond have inspired me. There are too many artists to name. I love it all.
8.What got you into making music?
When I was around six years old, my parents suggested I take guitar lessons. My father found this priest, who taught guitar lessons. I took from him for about three years. He was really good and patient with me.
9.Who is your favorite producer?
I’d have to say that Brian Malouf, John Kurzweg, Don Gilmore, and a handful of other producers have influenced me greatly over the years.
- What is one of your best songs/beats?
Hmm… I’d say “Goodbye” is one of my best songs. It expresses the desire to hold onto people you cherish and love, before death and beyond death.
- Are you signed to a record or label?
Nope. I was signed years ago to RCA Records, as a bass player for the band LoungeFly. But, we never made it past the studio. Brian Malouf was the A&R on the project.
- Have you ever performed?
Yes, I use to perform on a regular basis. A lot with LoungeFly and a handful of other bands and projects. I also do some open mic nights in a pub nearby.
- Who would you most likely collaborate with?
I’d collaborate with just about anyone. As long as I deem them talented and skilled at their craft.
- If you could open for any artist who would it be?
I’d open for any band or artist that has a similar style or vibe.
- What’s next for you?
I’m spending time with my father right now. Plus I have my studio setup in my apartment. I plan to continue to create and record my songs and ideas.
