From Southern California comes Afi El and his unique brand of conscious rap. Afi El is a hip-hop artist, producer, and spiritualist with a message to deliver to the world. With influences coming everywhere from higher powers to daily life as a parent, the well doesn’t runs dry and there’s never a dull moment while listening to the SoCal artist.

Originally from Anaheim, California, Afi El conform to the regional expectations surrounding westcoast music. However, it’s his interaction with his environment — the people, the land, the youth — that fuel his ideas and creativity. Influenced by artists like Slum Village, 9th Wonder, & J Dilla, Afi El has always been in love with hip-hop. After being inspired to write poetry by his mother, he turned his words into music and began releasing music under the name Afi El. His first official project “The RAW Material”, was released in 2020 and features diverse lyrics about life, death, reincarnation, and love. Afi El plans to use his music to spread light to all corners of the world, and is currently working on his upcoming second album “Plant Bass”.
