Q: What is your name/stage name?

A: “Jake Fox is my real name, but my stage name is YUNG FAUX.”

Q: Where are you from?

A: “Warren, Ohio”

Q: What do you do?

A: “I write and record music in hopes to inspire and vibe with people.”

Q: How long have you been making music?

A: “I’ve made music technically for 5 years, but serious ambition wise, around 2.”

Q: Who’s your biggest inspiration?

A: “My mom who unfortunately passed away back in May 2014.”

Q: What genre of music do you create?

A: “I don’t know to be honest because I’m still experimenting with genres, but also hope not to be labeled in a specific category.”

Q: What was it like working with (collabs?)

A: “I love working with my closest friend Baileyy who is like a brother to me, and he’s a producer too and still writes music. We usually vibe out in the studio for like an hour to get any bad thoughts or nervousness out and then, we start jamming out getting in our feels, but also letting them loose.”

Q: What are some features you have?

A: “I’ve been told that I can stay on cadence pretty well, and also the passion I have for music is helping me and anyone I’m working with progress in the right direction.”

Q: What are some features you want to get?

A: “I want to have a specific sound, but also kinda sample some sounds to influence a change so that I can get better every day with working on my own signature sound. I also wanna work on lyricism, it’s for some reason a struggle for me to pick a topic and then write, like it’s super frustrating at times to figure out how to piece these random thoughts I have going a million miles a second in my head, and I want to be able to control it and then write better lyrics.”

Q: Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?

A: “Hands down! It would be Post Malone. I think his style and vibe can work really well with my vibes that I’m trying to put out.”

Q: Are you signed to a label?

A: “Not currently, but maybe someday hope to be depending on how it goes down.”

Q: Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

A: “Yeah I would, but like I said before it depends on how it happens and the timing and all that.”

Q: Who are your biggest supporters?

A: “My biggest supporters are me, my friend Baileyy, and my girlfriend.”

Q: Where did your name come from?

A: “Partially it comes from my last name and YUNG spelled the way it is, I just wanted to be different and I also wanna feel young haha.”

Q: What are you currently working on?

A: “I am currently trying to come up with an album or some kind of project, but idk yet what it’s going to be about or anything yet.”

Q: What is your latest release?

A: “A song titled “Mama” in honor of my mother who passed like I stated previously, and I am dropping a song with my friend Baileyy here within a couple days!”

Q: When is your next release?

A: “I have a new song with my friend Baileyy, which is supposed to drop within a few days so stay tuned!”
