Georgia-based rapper Yng Deuce may have only begun making music in 2022, but he’s already making a name for himself in the hip-hop scene. With his first single, “DEUCE,” dropping in May 2023, Deuce has shown that he’s not afraid to make his mark. Starting as a featured artist on “Miami Logo” with BabyK, he quickly transitioned to putting out his own music, establishing a sound that is uniquely his.
Yng Deuce’s music is a blend of influences that range from the introspective and emotionally charged vibes of XXXTENTACION to the energetic and rhythmic flows of artists like Drake and Baby Keem. This diverse palette is a testament to his deep appreciation for the genre, where he draws inspiration from a variety of artists, including Kanye West, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, and 21 Savage. These influences, whether evident in his beats or lyrics, reflect a commitment to crafting music that resonates with listeners on multiple levels.
Even though he’s just starting out, Yng Deuce has already collaborated with artists like Lil Howie on the track “Moving Different.” While many of his projects are still unreleased, there’s a growing anticipation in his fan base, waiting to see what this promising artist will deliver next. His latest single, “Dreamin,” released in February, gave fans a taste of his lyrical prowess and creative vision.
Deuce is not signed to a label and hasn’t given much thought to seeking a record or distribution deal. For him, the thrill lies in making music, having fun, and seeing where the journey takes him. With his girlfriend, family, and close friends as his biggest supporters, Yng Deuce is building a solid foundation for his music career. He writes his own lyrics, staying true to his voice, and relies on the creative genius of Sal at AndBeyond Studios to bring his music videos to life.
When he’s not making music, Deuce is dreaming of performing at beachside venues or even taking his talents overseas. His biggest crowd so far has been around 40-50 people, but he envisions a future where he opens for big-name artists like Lil Yachty, Drake, or up-and-coming stars like Ian or BLP Kosher. His music, currently produced and mastered by his friend Sean, captures his raw, unfiltered approach to hip-hop, much of which he initially created using just his phone and Bandlab.
Looking five years into the future, Yng Deuce sees himself with a sizable following, traveling the world with his girl and his crew, and opening for major artists. With his dedication, passion, and the support of his close circle, there’s no doubt that Yng Deuce is on the path to making his dreams a reality. Keep an eye out for his next release, expected in the coming weeks—Yng Deuce is just getting started, and he’s ready to take the hip-hop world by storm.
