Hailing from New York, John Bizz has been carving out his place in the music world for the last decade. His journey, fueled by ambition and an undeniable love for hip-hop and RnB, began with his debut project, A Perfect Time, which set the stage for his rise as an independent artist. Drawing inspiration from heavyweights like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Fabolous, and Dipset, John has taken these influences and crafted his unique sound that blends raw hip-hop lyricism with smooth RnB vibes.
Though he’s been in the game for 10 years, John’s not slowing down. He’s constantly in the lab working on new music, dropping singles while waiting for the perfect moment to release another project. His most recent release, Trap Olympics, featuring Fuego Base of BSF and SixTheDon, showcases his skill in collaborating with rising stars and delivering gritty, street-heavy tracks that resonate with his audience. But when asked who his dream collaboration would be, he points to A Boogie, a fellow New Yorker whose melodic flows align perfectly with John‘s blend of hip-hop and RnB.
John is a true independent artist, writing 100% of his material and often coming up with his music video concepts. He’s quick to give credit to his visual collaborators, Rugz and Riley Balcom, calling them “the GOATs” for bringing his ideas to life. While many artists lean heavily on outside support, John Bizz prides himself on being his biggest fan and supporter. “You gotta want it more than anyone else,” he says, a mantra that’s kept him pushing forward in an industry known for its challenges.
With singles dropping consistently and upcoming tracks like Outside and Switched Up on the horizon, John Bizz is strategically positioning himself for success. While touring with Benny The Butcher is a dream he sees in his near future, performing in Puerto Rico is also high on his list, a place where he feels he could bring his energy and sound to a new audience. The biggest crowd he’s performed for so far was at a sold-out show in Saratoga, with over a thousand people vibing to his set, and that’s just the beginning for him.
Produced by Soundgoat, another New York native, John’s music is grounded in authentic storytelling, sharp beats, and a vision that only seems to be growing. In five years, John sees himself on tour, connecting with fans across the globe and solidifying his place in hip-hop. For now, he’s taking it step by step, mastering his craft, and letting the music speak for itself. Keep an eye on John Bizz—he’s about to take off.
