It’s not easy to emerge from the shadow of a famous parent, but the 25-year-old singer has done just that. Known for her chart-topping single, “That’s So True,” she recently wrapped up Taylor Swift’s Eras tour and made her debut on Saturday Night Live.
In a candid interview with Nylon, she shared how her parents have reacted to her rise to stardom. “They’re like, ‘What in the world?’” she quipped.
Despite her dad’s success as a director, she credits her mom as a major inspiration, calling her “the toughest person I know.”
