Experimental rap collective clipping. continues their futuristic sonic journey with “Welcome Home Warrior,” a mind-bending collaboration featuring underground legend Aesop Rock. The track serves as the latest preview from their upcoming concept album, Dead Channel Sky, set to drop next month.
Drenched in cyberpunk influence, Dead Channel Sky has already delivered electrifying singles like “Run It,” “Keep Pushing,” and “Change The Channel.” Now, “Welcome Home Warrior” expands on the album’s digital dystopia, blending warped electro pulses with Aesop Rock’s signature labyrinthine lyricism. The result? A hypnotic exploration of video game escapism, reality distortion, and the blurred lines between virtual and physical existence.
For fans of clipping. and Aesop Rock’s Def Jux-era experiments, this track is a return to the raw, boundary-pushing sound that made them underground staples. Buckle up—Dead Channel Sky is shaping up to be one of the most immersive concept albums of the year.
