Rico Nasty has built her reputation on high-energy, in-your-face bangers, but her latest single, “On The Low,” offers a refreshing change of pace. Known for her ferocious delivery and punk-infused rap style, the DMV artist takes a different approach on this track, embracing melody in a way that feels both unexpected and exciting.
As the second single from her upcoming album, LETHAL, “On The Low” showcases a side of Rico that often gets overlooked—her ability to craft smooth, emotive hooks without sacrificing the intensity that makes her music stand out. While fans may be used to tracks like “SMACK A BTCH”* and “TEETHSUCKER”, this latest offering proves that Rico’s artistry extends far beyond raw aggression. If this is a preview of what LETHAL has in store, we’re in for a wild and versatile ride.
