Jim Legxacy is back in motion with “stick,” a vibrant new single that sets the tone for his next mixtape, still slated for release later this year. The South London artist has been steadily carving out his space in the UK music scene, blending rap, production, and emotionally charged vocals into a genre-fluid sound that’s all his own.
With more than half a million monthly listeners on Spotify and several tracks breaking the million-stream mark, Legxacy’s reach continues to grow — even without a mainstream hit. His sound draws from a wide range of influences, and while “stick” carries traces of artists like Drake and Frank Ocean, it still pulses with his distinct style and artistic fingerprint.
Following the personal lyricism of his previous single “father” (which included a subtle nod to Mitski), “stick” feels more upbeat yet equally thoughtful — another strong entry in a discography built on emotion, range, and innovation.
