Too Short is back with a fresh reminder that his mic is still very much on. The Bay Area legend just dropped a new single titled “Still Mackin,” a no-nonsense declaration that after more than four decades in the game, he’s not stepping away anytime soon.
Since dropping his debut Don’t Stop Rappin’ back in 1983 at just 17 years old, Too Short has built a legacy off consistency, confidence, and staying true to his Oakland roots. Now nearing 60 and with close to 30 albums under his belt, “Still Mackin” serves as both a celebration of his staying power and a message to the culture—retirement’s not in the plans.
