You might not know his face, but you’ve definitely heard his work.
Brian Cleven Booth Sr., known professionally as Thisisbiggz, is a Grammy-voting, Billboard-charting music producer, mixing engineer, entrepreneur, author, and community builder. With deep roots in both Baltimore, Maryland and Hampton Roads, Virginia (the 757), Biggz is a true creative force who has built a reputation on not just creating music—but building platforms that empower others.
From crafting chart-ready records to launching nonprofits and branded product lines, Biggz has grown beyond the label of “beatmaker.” He’s become a movement.
Raised in Baltimore until age 13, Biggz was immersed in music from an early age. Church choirs, street rhythms, and classic East Coast hip hop shaped his early style. But it was in Virginia—specifically the 757 region—where his love for music transformed into a professional career.
“Virginia gave me my start,” he explains. “That’s where I found my sound, my grind, and my identity as a producer.”
Now repping both cities proudly, Biggz blends the grit of Baltimore with the depth and creative freedom of the 757—delivering a sound that resonates far beyond state lines.
His career credits are extensive. From studio sessions with G Herbo, EarthGang, and Moneybagg Yo, to executive producing the collaborative project Norfolk, Biggz has played a major role in shaping modern hip hop’s sonic landscape. His time interning at Timbaland’s Thomas Crown Studios taught him the ins and outs of high-level production—refining his ear and elevating his work ethic.
With over 100 production and engineering credits to his name, Biggz’s catalog fuses melodic trap, Afrobeat grooves, soul samples, and cinematic arrangements. But it’s his full-service approach that sets him apart.
“Before anything, we talk,” he says. “I want to know what the artist wants people to feel.”
That intentionality drives his entire process. Biggz offers custom beat production, vocal tracking, professional mixing and mastering, distribution and publishing guidance, as well as artist development consultations. Whether an artist needs one song or an entire rollout plan, Biggz provides structure, insight, and execution.
His accolades reflect the work. A Billboard plaque for EarthGang, recognition as a Grammy voting member, and being named one of XXL’s “Top 3 Producers to Watch” are just a few highlights from his growing list of achievements. His credits cross hip hop, R&B, trap, and beyond.
Beyond the booth, Biggz is committed to impact. In 2024, he launched the Cleven Harmony Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to music as a tool for healing, education, and opportunity. The foundation provides youth-focused music workshops, therapy-based creative sessions, and mentorship in audio engineering and music careers.
“Music gave me peace, purpose, and direction,” he says. “The foundation is about giving that to the next generation.”
In 2025, Biggz extended that mission through authorship. He published his first children’s book, The Art of Calm, on Amazon—a mindfulness guide for young people, with a special focus on helping Black boys process stress through breathing, self-talk, and emotional awareness.
“I wanted to create something for kids to understand that calm isn’t weakness. It’s power.”
The book aligns with his foundation’s values and serves as a helpful tool for parents, educators, and mentors working with youth.
Biggz’s ventures also extend into the cannabis lifestyle space. With authenticity at the center of his brand, he introduced several standout products under the Blockadee name: Bacarrat Biggz, a signature weed strain; Blockadee Reserve, a boutique flower line; and Blockadee Papers, his custom brand of organic rolling papers. Each product reflects his core values—real, refined, and rooted in culture.
Whether it’s music or lifestyle branding, Biggz continues to innovate and lead
His engineering mentorship program is another offering that reflects his commitment to sharing knowledge. At $400/month, participants receive hands-on training in recording, mixing, mastering, and studio session management. It’s part mentorship, part bootcamp—and all results.
From Baltimore to the 757, Biggz represents legacy in the making. His sound is soulful yet sharp, emotional but professional. His journey reflects not just talent, but intention. And with everything he builds—whether music, nonprofits, books, or products—his goal remains the same:
“I just want to create quality, help people grow, and give the message meaning.”
