Interview With Jeff Cunningham

1. What’s your name?
Jeff Cunningham, but I like to be called Jay

2. Where are you from?
I am from Moline, IL

3. How old are you?
I am 25 years old

4 .When did you start making music?
I started making music this year, but I’ve been free styling my whole life. One time when I was younger my mom even caught me free styling about homework while taking out the trash.

5. How serious are you about your career?
Dead serious, it is something I think about all day every day.

6. Have you ever thought about quitting music?
No, I can’t I would rather die trying to make it than give up on my passion for music.

7. Who inspires you the most?
Upchurch he a country rapper, he would be the person who inspires me the most because he is an independent artist who doesn’t care what others say about him and is just himself one hundred percent of the time.

8.What got you into making music?
The freedom to express myself and my feelings. I love everything about the art of making music. Beats, recording, writing. The whole process.

9.Who is your favorite producer?
I love all of the beats Dark Side produces on YouTube, they are all something I see myself vibing to.

10. What is one of your best songs/beats?
Pablo would be my best song because I shed a light on the things I’ve been through in my life and really tried to put that into this song.

11. Are you signed to a record or label?
Not yet, but I would like to be in the near future.

12. Have you ever performed?
I haven’t performed so far, but I am planning on performing this year with this group called Wasted Talent.

13. Who would you most likely collaborate with?
I would like to collaborate with Fat Nick because I feel our music styles are similar. Plus I’m a big fan of his.

14. If you could open for any artist who would it be?
I think it would be sick to open for Suicide Boyz. I’ve seen some of their concerts and that would be lit.

15. What’s next for you?
Work. Being in the studio as much as I can be, putting all my time into making more music, and making a name for myself.
