Interview With Devonte Williams

1. What’s your name?
My name is Devonte Williams.

2. Where are you from?
I’m from Belle Glade Fl.

3. How old are you?
I’m 26 years old.

4 .When did you start making music?
I’ve been doing music my whole life basically. Since I was like 14.

5. How serious are you about your career?
I’m very serious about my career. More serious now then I’ve ever been. Whatever it takes, I’m getting it done.

6. Have you ever thought about quitting music?
When my best friend passed away I was ready to give up on everything I was doing.

7. Who inspires you the most?
I’m not really inspired by anyone. All the losses I’ve taken throughout life is what inspires me. Motivates me to keep going.

8.What got you into making music?
I grew up listening to a lot of lil Wayne. The way he would put words together is insane. So yeah I guess he kinda inspired me to get into music.

9.Who is your favorite producer?
I don’t really have a favorite producer because most of the beats sound the same. They all sound good to be honest.

10. What is one of your best songs/beats?
I think my best song is the one I just finished writing. When it drops it’s over.

11. Are you signed to a record or label?
I’m currently not signed to anyone. Hopefully it’ll happen soon.

12. Have you ever performed?
I’ve performed a couple times at KOD of Miami. It was a pretty cool experience. And a few times at some smaller spots.

13. Who would you most likely collaborate with?
The person I would most likely collaborate with would have to be lil Wayne. He’s my favorite rapper.

14. If you could open for any artist who would it be?
For me to open for an artist would be an honor. Doesn’t matter who it is.

15. What’s next for you?
I’m currently working on my EP. Too many people are telling me to drop one. After that EP I’m dropping an album. Im gonna try to have about 5 bangers to where I can perform them around the world. After the tour I’m doing features and dropping singles from time to time. Rinse and repeat.
