I’m from a tiny little town in the southernmost tip of Ohio called Ironton, it’s literally the point between Kentucky and West Virginia.
During the day I work at a head shop called Granny’s. We sell clothes, witchy stuff, novelties, and bongs.
I’ve really been writing songs and playing around with music for about a decade now, but actually recording and releasing it is still really new to me. A few years ago I ended up in the booth by chance and I’ve been hooked since then.
My first song was called “five bars” I did it with a couple of my best friends in a trap house. They were recording and I felt their vibe so I got on a beat for the first time.
I’m ready to give anything it takes to have my career and make it work. I work 40+ hours a week during the day so when I get home I’m spending a little bit of time with my family and then staying up as late as it takes to get results from the music. At the same time I’m having to become pretty creative in finding ways to constantly post parts of my day to social media and interact with as many people as I can. In short, I’m working every hour that I possibly can right now.
I look to everyone I meet for inspiration, you can learn something from anyone. We’ve all lived a different life so we all have something different to say. Even if when talking to someone all you take away is what not to do, you still learned from them.
I really liked working with my friends, but there were a lot of drugs involved and I’ve been sober for almost 4 years now so I just really could never be in that place in time again.
So, after 5 bars I did a series of features with my friends; all that I am, sorry not sorry, & raise hell. Recently I did a feature with my cousin Jeffery, it was a song called Crossed.
Even if I had never gotten the chance to work with him, I wish I could’ve met Mac Miller. Right now, I’d really like to work with $uicideboy$.
I’m not signed to a label, never have been.
I don’t really mind what kind of deal I could get, I know there’s more money some ways than others but as long as I’m making good enough money to be comfortable and working with good people I’m happy. Anything is better than the extreme poverty I’ve already faced and I’m not really greedy.
My biggest supporters are really my girl and my work family at granny’s. I don’t think without I would’ve ever even posted my songs.
I’m working on new projects around the clock, I started writing a verse earlier that I thought was sick. It’s actually for a feature I’m working on with Jeffery.
My latest release is called “Last Flex” it’s on a free for profit beat that Scarim Beats made
My next release will be tomorrow for Friday the 13th if all goes as planned.
In five years; I see myself finishing up a tour, walking out my back door down onto the beach and taking a breath because I know it’s all alright. I bought a house and showed my family and said “you live here now” and there’s no more missing bills or running up debts. I don’t have to be cold in those streets and I haven’t been for a while.
What I plan to do next is just put out music, gain more of a following, set out on a tour, make magic at the shows, and bring home enough pay to support myself and my family.
