What is your name/stage name?
MILLI

Where are you from?
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

What do you do?
I just create the art I was put on earth to do,
I feel like it’s really my purpose, I’ve always
been obsessed with music for as long as I can
remember, that’s not normal unless it’s your
true gift that God gave you.

How long have you been making music?
Taking it seriously? 5 years now, started really
seeing the vision September 2017.

What genre of music do you create?
Primarily Hip-Hop/R&B but I have Pop Punk songs,
Country songs, and Pop songs in the vault, I want
a song in every genre, remaining unpredictable to
your supporters is the best thing ever.

What was it like working with (collabs?)
Mainly I drop songs with no features, that way I
can build the leverage of my sound to new listeners,
but I do have a few features, and they all was dope
experiences, I love other peoples
vision on music & sound.

What are some features you have?
Me and Smino got a dope song on the way, and I been in
talks with some more people, but I’m gonna wait until
we further in that process to speak on it. I got some
features unreleased with some dope artists from my
city as well.

What are some features you want to get?
So many people, I gotta get that Russ feature off top
for being the inspiration he is to me. I wanna work
with a bunch of the female r&b artists for sure, and
idk if this counts to the question but I gotta get
Missy Elliott to direct a music video for me.

Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
Aaliyah for sure!

Are you signed to a label?
No, Independent

Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
Not really, just wanna remain independent for now and build
my level, in a few years who knows, I might wanna do business
with a record company, but I’m gonna build that leverage
myself first, that way I can talk a profit split deal.

Who are your biggest supporters?
My mom and my brothers, my closest friends, and a small group chat
I made in 2019 on Instagram that consist of 7 people I met around
the world via Instagram at that time that liked my music back when
I started.

Where did your name come from?
It’s been my nickname since I was young my
real names Emileo.

What are you currently working on?
Just keep having fun dropping the music I love and appreciating
every part of the journey, the stars are aligning perfectly for
me, my debut album has been done and in the tuck, I’m just
dropping the singles that’s been sitting in
my computer until then.

What is your latest release?
At the time of this interview, I got a song
called ‘SUMMER LOVE’.
