How would you describe your musical style?
“I feel like I don’t have a definite style to what I do I can vary between simple, slightly empty beats to full, bombastic productions. I just try to make something that’s quality and listenable.”
What is the first album you owned?
“The first album I owned, on vinyl, was ? Deluxe by XXXTENTACION. Over time, I’ve grown the collection and now have mostly 90s to early 2000s albums like Life After Death, Ready To Die, and Capital Punishment.”
How do you prepare before going on stage?
“I currently do not perform on stage, but if I did, I’d just tell myself to live in the moment and make the people in the crowd happy.”
If we’re going to buy you a drink, what should it be?
“As I am under 21, I cannot legally have alcohol. Instead, a Stewart’s root beer would hit the spot.”
What’s a song that has been stuck in your head these days?
“Figaro by Madvillain. Legendary song on a legendary album by a legendary collab (MF DOOM and Madlib).”
Who’s your favorite artist?
“MF DOOM. Easily top 5 all time.”
Tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?
“Scars and Bruises‘ is currently my oldest song on my YouTube and is sitting at 25 views. I would’ve considered it a success if this was January, but with where I’m at now, I’d consider it a failure.”
What is the story behind “Scars and Bruises”
“It was just me messing around in an app called Launchpad. I wasn’t serious about producing at the time and didn’t think that uploading it would be worth much.”
If you could pick one or the other, what would you choose, the money or the fame?
“The money. I wanna support my family, and fame can only get you so far in that regard.”
If you could go back in time or in the future, which one would you choose and why?
“The future I want to see what happens to the people I care about, and make sure that they’re ok.”
