Virginia Beach’s own Kado Wins is carving out a name as one of the region’s most versatile and determined artists. Fresh off performing with his label Family Tithes at Pharrell’s Something in the Water festival, Kado has doubled down on his artistry as a producer, engineer, director, and performer. His latest project, Baila Boyz, created alongside FrankieFromTheTrap, dropped on August 29, 2025, and it’s already making waves.
Baila Boyz is more than an album—it’s a cultural statement. The project weaves gritty street energy with emotional depth, rooted in the R&B samples that first inspired Kado’s love for music. Tracks move fluidly between raw hip-hop intensity and melodic storytelling, balancing resilience with reflection. A highlight comes with PrayMe, featuring fellow Virginia artist Khi Infinite, where themes of faith, struggle, and perseverance are elevated through layered harmonies and sharp lyricism.
The collaboration with FrankieFromTheTrap pushes boundaries, capturing both nostalgia and modern edge. At the same time, Kado’s momentum extends beyond the project: his single AintBeenHome with 10kDunkin is buzzing, and his upcoming solo album—executive produced by Tavaras Jordan (known for his work with Summer Walker)—promises to showcase an even more elevated sound.
Guided by his manager and older brother DJ J-Rok, Kado Wins is transforming momentum into movement. Independent but ambitious, he’s actively working toward securing a distribution deal to expand his reach and build on the foundation he’s already laid.

Drawing comparisons to Ye, Clipse, and Pharrell Williams, while bringing his own originality to the table, Kado Wins is steadily proving himself as one of the most exciting names coming out of Virginia’s music scene. With Baila Boyz, he’s not just dropping music—he’s building culture.
