What is your name/stage name?
My name is Mitch but I’m known as Mitpar Films.
Where are you from?
I’m from the bay area in Northern California.
What do you do?
I direct music videos and record music based events in Northern California,
which is what got me the 2021 North Bay Videographer Award in December 2021
and Videographer of the Month for April 2022.
Who’s your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspirations are two directors; Cole Bennett and Nash Browin.
What was it like working with up and coming artists?
It’s always fun to me because regardless of who the artist is or how controlled
the environment is for production, there will always be something incredible or
something insanely funny that happens on set, and that just helps build a
relationship between artist and director.
Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
I would have loved to work with Juice WRLD. I love his music and I’ve heard people
say nothing but good things about working with him. As for someone alive, I really
want to work with ericdoa. He puts his own spin on pop music that I really enjoy
so I think him and I could make a mindblowing video.
Are you signed to a label?
I am not currently signed to any label but I would like to be.
Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
I would love to work out a directing deal of sorts with a label. Just get paid to join
the label for a fixed amount of money for a fixed amount of videos and not have to
worry about money later on.
Who are your biggest supporters?
Surprisingly people from the Bay Area and other artists and just fans in general around
the country. I didn’t think it would be like this for me, but I’m extremely grateful
for anyone who has genuinely supported me.
Where did your name come from?
Mitpar actually came from an old high school joke. My old friend had his instagram name
set as an abbreviated version of his name, the first four letters from his first name
and the first four letters of his last name, and he said my name in the same format
except my name makes more sense with the first three letters from each name, not
four, otherwise my name would have been MitcPark and I don’t think that has
as nice of a ring to it as Mitpar.
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently preparing to help LA artist Un$poken with his tour he has going on in July.
Then I’m going to Florida right after with him to team up with the artists Hibari555
and Graffiti Avenue to make their first official music videos.
What is your latest release?
My latest release is the music video for Young Fee’s song “We Shine Together”. My next
release is on June 26th this year, and that’s going to be the music video for Crumb
Dread’s single, “Pass The Weed”.
