1. How would you describe your musical style?
I would say R&B/ with a dazzle of blues.
2. What is the first album you owned?
Whitney Houston – I remember my Mom giving me her greatest hits Video Tape and you could not tell me I WASN’T her. Haha
3. How do you prepare before going up on stage?
I rehearse all through the day imagining myself on stage and building the energy I need while trying not to flip out on the inside!
4. If we’re going to buy you a drink, what should it be?
If you caught me in my prime It would be between wine or Tequila however I’ve switched over to water… ! My privilege’s were self revoked unfortunately.
5. What’s a song that has been stuck in your head these days?
MY new song that I just finished called Waterfall ! I keep seeing it get played on the radio! Yes, Im speaking it into existence! LOL
6. Who’s your favorite artist?
God Bless the dead Whitney Houston!
7. Tell us about the first song you made. Was it a success or a failure?
I would say my first song was trial and error. There were a lot of high points but I also had a lot that I needed to work on. Even though it wasn’t the best it was a success because I set aside my fear/ self doubt and released it for others to hear.
8. What is the story behind Session 27?
This will be MY first full project that I put together. It definitely has been a therapy session to sing about things I don’t usually speak about within my life. MY ups my downs , my fails and my success. Writing these songs have truly been an outlet and I believe the songs on it others will also be able to relate to. I love songs that tell stories! You know the ones you vision the story line just when you hear the words? Writing/ Singing has always been a hobby of mine but I keep getting this push to do more.
9.If you could pick one or the other what would you choose, the money or the fame?
Off top the dolllaaa bills! Lol No, but in all honestly, I’m not looking for fame. Making money and living comfortably doing something I love is my ultimate goal.
10.If you could go back in time or in the future which one would you choose and why?
I would choose back in time to have a better future.
