Young Thug is proving once again that loyalty in hip-hop can still mean something. The Atlanta rapper stepped in to offer financial help to R&B artist Kevin McCall after an emotional podcast appearance made headlines.

During his recent interview on BackOnFigg, McCall broke down in tears while recalling an unresolved issue with Chris Brown, claiming the superstar still owes him $25,000 for songs they worked on years ago. The viral clip quickly sparked online sympathy — and caught Thug’s attention.
Taking to social media, Young Thug said he’s ready to cover the alleged debt himself, calling Chris “a real one” who’s likely just been too busy to settle things. It’s a rare moment of unity and empathy in a culture often fueled by competition.

The long-standing rift between McCall and Brown dates back over a decade, after the two parted ways creatively. Since then, their relationship has been strained, with fans speculating on whether reconciliation was ever possible.
With Thug’s offer, some see hope that the situation could end peacefully — maybe even inspiring a fresh collaboration between all three artists. After all, Thug and Brown already showed their chemistry with 2020’s joint album Slime & B.

Whether or not the $25K gets paid, Thug’s gesture reinforces one thing: respect and compassion still have a place in hip-hop’s high-stakes world.
