Q.) What is your name/stage name?

A.) “ Dont’e aka DTAYE “

Q.) Where are you located?

A.) “ Orlando.”

Q.) What is the meaning behind your name?

A.) “It’s me, i just feel like since this been my Nick name y change it when most of my friends know me by this..lil man is also my Nick name..my dad gave me that nickname as a kid that was ahead of his time. My fam and close friends the only ones call me that tho lol”.

Q.) What got you into music?

A.) “My boys snipacasso and city..they been recording music since they was 13 I was 8 but never took music serious cause I was too busy been an athlete..so 2 years ago I finally said why not try it out”.

Q.) What type of music do you make?

A.) “Hip-Hop, rap.”

Q.) How long have you been making music?

A.) “Only 2 years and finally dropped my first 3 singles this year, Blind To Y’all, Keep Slipping, and My Vibe”.

Q.) What are you making music for?

A.) “For me..I always wanted to jam my own music while driving lol but now I’m falling in love with the growth I’m witnessing so it’s actually fun to me now”.

Q.) What’s driving you?

A.) “Growth..and knowing it’s doubters out there..the fact that I’m not known for rapping I know it’s doubters even tho no one never said anything…but that’s just it..I take silence as a doubt waiting for me to fail. And when I make my mind up to do some thing, I give it my all”.

Q.) Who are your biggest supporters?

A.) “My family of course..they supported me with everything I have did and tried to do”.

Q.) Are you signed to a label?

A.) “Not yet lol”.

Q.) Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?

A.) “I’m not sure yet really just giving it my all and going with the flow. That’s how you receive your biggest blessings”.

Q.) Who are some features that you have?

A.) “Most of my fts are my boys Linc4real, dutty1chrisd, and my boy money..he also is the producer at the bosslife stu in Orlando”.

Q.) Who are some features you want to get?

A.) “If we talking celebrities I’ll get on the track with anybody hot at the time just to challenge myself..I love a challenge..it’s makes me hungrier and knowing I’m the under dawg makes me go harder..but I wouldn’t mind getting in the track with Boosie, yak, and Wayne and plenty others”.

Q.) Who’s one person dead or alive that you’d want to work with?

A.) “Wayne.”

Q.) is there anybody else you want to shout out for any reason?

A.) “God, both my parents for making me the man I am today, and my whole family”.

Q.) What are you currently working on?

A.) “Well I know I need more solos so I been trying to make more of those at the same time looking for MY sound still..I personally don’t feel like I found it yet..but when I do the world gone know cause it will be on a hit”.

Q.) What is your latest release?

A.) “My Vibe..on all platforms now”.

Q.) When is your next release?

A.) “ Not sure yet just focus on recording different solos in the booth…I look at going to the studio as practice instead of just a recording session..I feel growth every time I leave out..so the more I go the better I get obviously”.
