Mr. Bickle Houston, T.X.
Q.) What is your name/stage name?
A.) “My name is Dallas, as a producer I go by Mr. Bickle.“
Q.) Where are you from?
A.) “I was born in Nebraska, but I’ve definitely been raised in Houston, Texas since ’94.“
Q.) What do you do?
A.) “Home destroyer and remodeler by day, alert knob-twiddler by night.“
Q.) How long have you been making music?
A.) “Roughly 5 years. I wish I had started so much sooner, but the desire to create didn’t hit until about 2017.“
Q.) What are you making music for?
A.) “Well, I make music because I absolutely am consumed by it, as well as being very therapeutic. I make music to hopefully create something that inspires someone else to do the same.“
Q.) What’s driving you?
A.) “There has been so many reasons up to date… from range of emotion to just making a track out of spite to just wanting to prove something… Now the drive is just a simple decision that this is what I want to do no matter what, for the rest of my days.“
Q.) Who’s your biggest inspiration?
A.) “That would be Aphex Twin. The decision to even begin dabbling in music was purely because I wanted to make music like Aphex. But I am still finding my niche as far as style goes…which I may just settle on no style, as with Jeet Kune Do, and be like water. To clarify I’ll paraphrase Bruce Lee: ‘If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. If you put it into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water my friends.‘”

Q.) What genre of music do you create?
A.) “Electronic with a dash of old school Hip-Hop and some IDM sprinkles.“
Q.) Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
A.) “Richard D. James for sure. I’d probably give a toe, maybe two just to work with Richard for a day.“
Q.) Are you signed to a label?
A.) “Not yet, but I will be.“
Q.) Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
A.) “I am currently with a distributor, but I’d very much like to have a record deal at some point. Everything in time though.“
Q.) Who are your biggest supporters?
A.) “People online. They give their time to listen and provide feedback/critique and hold conversation. Friends and family really kind of just don’t care or think it’s a random hobby that is meaningless, which I guess is usually how it goes. But 2 albums, an EP, several more singles, adding the things yet to come out and the stuff I’ve archived I have loads of music, so it does bother me a bit. At the same time, I can trust that people online are being genuine, as they have no reason not to be. It is the criticism that fosters growth and be sure that the internet will criticize you.“
Q.) Where did your name come from?
A.) “An old movie titled ’Taxi Driver’ with Robert Deniro, who’s name in the film is Travis Bickle. He was a badass that dealt with the lowest people. I felt my name should at least have some of representation of my nature, so I went with it. That and I had to choose something nobody else was using.“
Q.) What are you currently working on?
A.) “I have a Hip-Hop track in the works. I’m finessing it.“
Q.) What is your latest release?
A.) “‘Amyoma’ Available almost everywhere music is heard.“
Q.) When is your next release?
A.) “Soon. Very soon.”
