“I am from Trinidad and Tobago but I’ve been living in Canada for over 20 years now. I’m dual citizenship.”
How old are you?
“I am 39 years old and feeling fine as wine, Lol.”
“When did you start making music?
“I recorded my first song Six Minutes in 2021 but I’ve been writing for more than 5 years.”
How serious are you about your career?
“I am very serious about making music, especially writing. I like the writing process and being creative with it. I would like to write for other artists as well, that’s one of my main goals.”
Have you ever thought about quitting music?
“I have thought about quitting everyday. I’m a busy mom of two boys and work night shift in the nursing field so being tired makes me want to quit. Also just life obstacles in general but I’m still at it. Can’t give up!”
Who inspires you the most?
“My kids, my life story and other artists and people inspire me.”
What got you into making music?
“I don’t have big names to drop but I worked with a great producer Kenny Davis from the US. He is good at what he does and he created the amazing beat for Nikki Nonstop. Please check him out on @kennydavis2390 S-Five Productionz LLC and @sfiveproductionzllc239 for more dope beats and music.”
What is one of your best songs/beats?
“I have to say my first song Six Minutes which is a dance song and beat. It was produced by a talented producer here in Canada and of course Nikki Nonstop the beat is dope!”
Are you signed to a record or label?
“I am not signed but my song Six Minutes had a placement on a TV show on Fox Business. Yay! I’m having fun no matter what.”
Who would you most likely collaborate with?
“Not sure yet. Lizzo to start!”
What’s next for you?
“I’m continuing with writing and collaborating with other producers and maybe new artists here in Canada. Having fun with it all the way!
