Ha$h what is your story like working with Jake Strain?

“Kinda crazy how this joint came together. I’d been following Jake on Twitter for a minute and hadn’t really had any interaction wit him. I noticed how he was always showing love to independent artist ya know tryna help others get ahead and errthing. I can’t remember exactly what this specific post was about but I decided to share my link wit him not really expecting a response or anything but he hit me like yo you nice wit it if you got any opens let’s work. Just so happens I had that joint wit only one verse on it already so I sent it and he was feeling that joint! So I’m like word let’s go. My boy had his verse done right away on some shit like I be on and I was ok dude for real wit it…lol long story short I sent him my files, he mixed that joint and had it sounding nice. I sat on that joint for like a year before we actually released it ya know jus tryna find the right time to drop being that I was dropping an EP around that time but it all came together nicely. I knew Jake had a nice fanbase and combined wit mine I was like this joint could do aight plus we put some serious bars on there. I had no idea it would do this well in such a short amount of time. Ended up on several playlists, one in particular that had 900,000 followers which for me was super dope being that I’d never landed on a playlist that big until then. But yea man we still pushing and in talks about putting a video together for so be on the look out for that. S/O Jake on the feature and S/O OG Buttah Cookiez on the production, definitely a classic and one of my all time personal favs!”
