Gen-Z: Tell us about your most recent release!
Laci Kay Somers: My most recent release is called “Bad Bitch Alert.” It showcases my ability to rap and also my creativity with a hip hop style beat.
Gen-Z: What inspired it?
Laci Kay Somers: I wanted to create a female anthem and something fun and creative for people to use on TikTok. Coming from a modeling background it’s nice to also showcase my talent. I am all about energy and I think this song exemplifies a perfect women empowerment message.
Gen-Z: Who worked on it with you? Any accolades?
Laci Kay Somers: Jaime Velez was my Grammy award winning engineer out of Blackwood studios. I am a super loyal individual and all aspects of my life and I like sticking with my team.
Gen-Z: Can you tell us about a few memorable music experiences you’ve had – Special moments or career changing?
Laci Kay Somers: 1. I love filming music videos. They are so fun for me and the fact that I get total control is a bonus. 2. I love performing and have had the opportunity to perform multiple times and look forward to more in the future. 3. I also opened up for Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube in the Bay Area. Such a cool experience, considering I grew up on their music, and it was very surreal.

This is just a taste of Laci Kay Somers – To see the real deal, check out her new video “Bad Bitch Alert.”
