What is your biggest achievement?
Right now, as far as the industry is concerned, my biggest achievement is a song I did with 704Rock. He’s a rapper in my state that’s been making some recent waves and right now we got one out with like 6k or 7 on YT. I got a couple of other smaller songs out with him as well but right now that’s the biggest.
Who is your biggest inspiration ?
My biggest inspiration by far is Wheezy. People tell me all the time they can hear him in my beats lmao but he was like the first producer to really pmo producing. Like I remember when thug dropped Barter 6 and half the tracks had “Wheezy Beats” at the beginning and you heard this whole new vibe of songs that made you feel like you was on the sea or something. His beats always have a natural and native feel which resonates with me specifically. I want to be really intune with the music and the production of the overall song like Metro and Hit Maka and I really want to be like an artist in the producer game if that makes sense but inspiration wise, Wheezy by far has and probably always will be what makes me want to make beats the most.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year ?
Right now i’m in school. I’m about to graduate with an associates and i’ll be transferring out to another school to get my bachelors. In a year, I see myself in my little setup where ever that is trying to establish myself as a known beat maker in the studios there. Making beats is so easy after a small amount of time, networking and connecting to make these sales bigger and bigger is the hardest part and getting into these rappers ears starts in the studio normally.
Where are you from?
I’m from the 910. Robeson County North Carolina.
How old are you?
I’m 20.
Are you working on any projects ?
I got some little stuff i’m working on with some people. i got some major stuff with a couple artists under one label because I was able to tap in through another one of my connections. I also got a executive produced project coming out soon as well. I’ve been working hard on trying to perfect my craft and get better at just making beats and samples so i’ve also been working on putting out some solo pack projects for the future.
What are you in this industry for ?
I’m in this industry because I feel like we’re missing something in it. I’m Native American and I feel like we got so many sounds that are simply just not being injected into the scene. I don’t see nobody really bringing what I got in my head to the table so I guess at the heart of the question, the answer is I got something to show y’all that I feel like you need to hear.
What’s your next move ?
My next move is to try to elevate my workflow and ethic. I already work harder than most of the people I know in general but the difference between me and metro is he been working a lot harder and a lot longer. Obviously I’m not a better producer than metro but if I work as much as he does plus at night while he’s asleep and not working, logically, I will surpass him with time.
