Hey Chief the Bear How are you?
Hey I’m solid thank you for asking!
What is your biggest achievement?
that’s really hard to say. My biggest achievements I would say are all the steps I took to get to this point in life. I got to work with bands, music groups, Grammy winners, award winning studios, rappers, gamers, Podcasters, radio hosts, live productions, commercials, TV shows, production companies, artists. I guess my greatest achievement would have to be remixing west side story. It was my first realization of my capabilities as an engineer and how I can create a story from another story.
Who is your biggest inspiration ?
Also difficult question, I feel like the inspiration comes from everywhere. From the multitude of genres, from the sounds of nature. Music is like energy, it’s everywhere and it’s in everything. But I guess the biggest inspiration I have is the collision course album by Jay-z and linkin park. To me the album signifies the sound of what power the sounds of New York can accomplish.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year ?
In one year I see myself making Music for myself as well as the communities I’m a part of. I see myself helping out by local communities and the First Nation (indigenous Americans).
Where are you from?
Originally from Hudson NY but I reside in Ravena NY
How old are you?
I’m 27
Are you working on any projects ?
currently I’m excited for this remix project I’m starting on. I’m going to be remixing the back to bedlam album by James blunt with audio samples from the show Reservation dogs and I’m calling it back to rezdom. My next project after that will be an EP call drawn out.
What are you in this industry for ?
i’m in the industry for a few reasons. I have a love and passion for music, I like all the places it was cultivate from and I like the craft of it. It’s some thing that I’ve always carried with me, I was always in music classes from a kid to to doing internships in college. I’m also doing this for the indigenous community that I’m a part of.
What’s your next move ?
My next moves are to craft and cultivate sounds into an authentic embodiment of my belief. I believe that music is a ground in which all nations can stand firmly on. I believe music can impact and change beings and I want to incorporate medicine in that music that is relatable to everyone. To start this cultivation, I will be working on albums and singles to be put on SoundCloud Spotify and Apple Music soon for people to hear.
