Worldarama, the CEO of grindhardtv.com, is celebrating the 19th anniversary of his groundbreaking music platform. Since the 90s, Worldarama, formerly a member of the group illdistracxion, has been deeply involved in the music industry, selling records, performing shows, making radio appearances, and participating in TV interviews. His journey has seen the release of multiple singles, mixtapes, LPs, EPs, and music videos, as well as the creation of hundreds of TV episodes. Additionally, he has showcased his skills as an artist manager and successfully marketed the popular independent clothing line, Madsoul, from 2001 to 2004.
In the present day, Worldarama continues to leave his mark on the music scene with the release of a new single titled “Go Baybay.” This record reflects his experiences dealing with different family situations and the challenges that arise from raising three sons with three different mothers. The song delves into the emotional struggles faced by Worldarama while striving to be a responsible father, a narrative made even more poignant by the recent revelation that one of his children is not biologically his own.
Although Worldarama’s story may not be unique, it resonates deeply with many individuals who have gone through bitter breakups and custody battles. His music serves as both entertainment and a source of inspiration, shedding light on the importance of persevering in maintaining a presence in one’s children’s lives, regardless of the conflicts between parents.
Worldarama embarked on his music industry journey as a member of the group Ill Distracxtion, which marked the beginning of his foray into the world of hip-hop. Building upon his foundation as an artist, he expanded his horizons by becoming a hip-hop dancer for Lady of Rage. When she left for California with Dr. Dre, Worldarama bestowed DJ Mista Sinista with his first set of Gemini 1200 turntables. From there, he and PLiZ joined forces to form Ill Distracxion, a pivotal moment that deepened his appreciation for the genre. Today, Worldarama considers himself a hip-hop historian, reflecting on his remarkable career with immense gratitude. He joyfully acknowledges his enduring involvement, stating, “I feel happy and privileged to still be a part of this 50 years into hip-hop.”
The inception of Grindhardtv can be traced back to Worldarama’s partnership with videographer Inf Mega. Recognizing Worldarama’s business acumen within their crew, Inf Mega collaborated with him to establish Grindhardtv in May 2004. The platform made its television debut on Christmas Day of that year, marking a significant milestone for Worldarama. However, after five or six years, Inf Mega pursued his own endeavors with his platform, Inf Mega Films, leaving Worldarama to continue the journey of Grindhardtv on his own. Undeterred, Worldarama dedicated the past 15 years to the growth and success of Grindhardtv, becoming synonymous with the brand. “I’m Grindhardtv, and
I’m Worldarama,” he proudly states.
Currently, Worldarama is actively promoting his new record, “Go Baybay,” alongside the latest releases from collaborators, producer Blue Diaz and artist King Lyrical. The significance of his work is highlighted by its recent inclusion in the NBA finals, further solidifying Worldarama’s impact and reach within the music industry.
When asked about his most memorable personal achievements, Worldarama emphasizes the importance of his children. However, he also reveals the emotional turmoil he has experienced upon discovering that one of his children is not biologically related to him. Drawing from past relationships and personal experiences, Worldarama finds inspiration for his music. “Go Baybay” serves as a testament to life’s trials and tribulations, showcasing his commitment to creating authentic music that reflects real-life situations.
Worldarama’s dedication to the music industry and his unwavering commitment to Grindhardtv exemplify his passion and resilience. With his platform
