The longstanding feud between Freddie Gibbs and Akademiks reached new heights as serious rape allegations surfaced against Akademiks. Ziya Abashae, Ak’s ex-girlfriend, accused him and friends of sexual assault, triggering a social media storm. Gibbs, known for his sharp wit, didn’t hold back, taunting Akademiks for his silence on the matter and vowing to confront him in court.
The beef, which originated in 2020, resurfaced last summer when Gibbs mocked Akademiks for a lackluster live podcast. The recent scandal adds another layer to their ongoing feud, showcasing the intense and public nature of their rivalry.
