In an unexpected turn of events, rapper 50 Cent finds himself in hot water after a microphone toss during a Los Angeles gig last August. While he managed to dodge criminal charges initially, the victim, Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain, has taken legal action, claiming permanent injuries. Court documents obtained by TMZ reveal that 50, frustrated with a malfunctioning microphone, tossed it into the crowd, inadvertently hitting Monegain in the face and wrist. Despite 50’s denial of intent to harm, Monegain suffered a concussion, an open cut on her forehead, and bruises. Although she’s back on air, emotional distress lingers, leading to a lawsuit for lost income, medical expenses, and damages.
During this performance of his Final Lap tour at Crypto.com Arena, 50 Cent made headlines as he energetically tossed his microphone into the crowd not once, but twice. In an unexpected turn of events, a woman in the audience was reportedly struck in the head, prompting her to file a police report. 50 Cent’s attorney has come forward to assert that the rapper would never intentionally harm anyone with a microphone.
