The announcement precedes the 66th annual Grammy Awards, where Jones stands as a formidable contender in five categories.

In a press release, Jones expressed her deep connection to music, stating, “Music has been a constant in my life and the motivation that has anchored me since the very beginning.” The partnership with Warner Chappell, a team that shares her passion and understands her artistic vision, holds profound significance for the artist.

Warner Chappell Music president, Ryan Press, lauded Jones for her unique voice, emphasizing her role in shaping a new era of R&B. He remarked, “She’s helping pave an entirely new era of R&B, and her hustle and work ethic have led to a year of breakthroughs. Now let’s go win some Grammys.”

This collaboration follows Jones’s earlier signing with High Standardz, in a joint venture with Def Jam Recordings in 2022. The distribution of her project, “What I Didn’t Tell You,” through this partnership showcased her versatility with standout tracks like “Double Back,” “No Chaser,” and “Put You On.” The deluxe edition featured the notable contribution of Babyface on “Simple.”
