Ice Spice Announces “Y2K” Album

Ice Spice, the Bronx rap sensation, recently graced the Today Show with an exciting update on her much-anticipated debut studio album, Y2K. Born on January 1, 2000, the title itself holds significance, and she shared her enthusiasm about the album’s imminent release this year.

During the interview, the “Munch” hitmaker tantalized fans with a revelation about a compelling collaboration that was just finalized. Although details are under wraps, the mere mention of a “crazy collaboration” has left fans buzzing with anticipation.

Watch the exclusive interview below to catch a glimpse of Ice Spice’s charisma and excitement as she discusses Y2K and drops hints about the mysterious collaboration.

Ice Spice’s producer, RIOTUSA, heightened expectations by promising more “classic” material on the album. In a recent live Q&A captured by Billboard, he hinted at the release of new classics in 2024, emphasizing his dual role as a producer and recording artist.

For an early taste of what’s to come, Ice Spice released her latest single, “Think U The Shit (Fart),” earlier this month. The track not only showcases her lyrical prowess over a RIOTUSA, Synthetic, and venny produced beat but also seems to contain subtle references to her rumored rival, Latto.

Y2K is poised to follow in the footsteps of Ice Spice’s successful Like..? EP, which dropped in January 2023, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard 200. The EP spawned several hit singles, including “In Ha Mood,” “Deli,” and the Nicki Minaj collaboration, “Princess Diana.”

Stay tuned as Ice Spice’s Y2K gears up to take the music scene by storm, promising a fusion of her signature style and exciting collaborations.
