Salvatore Perigio’s love for music runs deep—so deep that he describes it as a romantic passion, something pure and ever-present. For him, making music isn’t just a career; it’s an emotional connection that’s always been there, burning bright inside his heart.
Throughout his journey, there have been multiple highlights. His first big check was a moment of validation, and being able to work with high-caliber artists and perform on tour have given him experiences that he cherishes. He recalls these moments with excitement, saying each one felt like his energy was turned up to “high octane.”
Salvatore describes his sound as “alternative trap,” blending the raw elements of trap music with other unexpected musical influences. This unique combination allows him to stand out, always experimenting and pushing boundaries. He believes his audience resonates with his music because it’s authentic, created in the moment, straight from the heart.
Collaboration, for Salvatore, is all about the vibe. He adapts like a chameleon, letting the music guide him while maintaining his own individuality. Even though he works with others now—shoutout to Chloe—he’s still very much an independent artist. Every project he’s been part of, big or small, makes him proud.
His motivation? It’s a blend of family, friends, and an undeniable addiction to creating music. While he’s faced challenges, especially financial barriers and a lack of support, Salvatore keeps pushing forward. He believes in the strength of persistence and is fueled by his passion to keep going.
Salvatore admits that social media isn’t really his thing. He’s more of an “in-the-moment” type of person, preferring live, real-world connections over online broadcasts. Yet, despite this, he acknowledges the role social media plays in the music industry.
Looking ahead, Salvatore’s fans can expect his upcoming project, titled “…but I’m never coming back”. It’s a bold declaration, showing that his next move will be transformative and powerful.
