Makai has been making music for over 7 years, and his dedication is evident in every note he sings. “I’ve always been inspired by the greats like Michael Jackson and Chris Brown,” Makai shares when asked about his influences. “Their talent and stage presence are unmatched. I want to bring that same energy and passion to my music.” With his smooth vocals, rhythmic flow, and undeniable charisma, Makai is well on his way to joining the ranks of his idols.

Although Makai isn’t signed to a label, he’s focused on getting the right distribution deal to further elevate his career. “A distribution deal is what I’m looking for. I want to be able to share my music with the world and reach as many people as possible,” he says. His biggest supporters? His loyal female fans, who can’t seem to get enough of his charm and talent.

In the studio, Makai takes control of his creative process. “I write all my own material, and I also come up with my own music video concepts. It’s important to me that my vision comes through in everything I do,” he explains. He’s currently working on a music video for Here For You and plans to release a new single in December 2024.

While Makai’s journey is still in its early stages, his ambition is clear. “In five years, I see myself on stage, performing in front of large crowds,” he says. With a dream of one day touring with Chris Brown, Makai knows that big things are in his future.
