Don’t sleep on Riverdale, Georgia because Huncho Markk is coming for his spot in the game. Formerly known as UTMR PlugHunxho, the young rapper is making noise with a rebrand, a refined sound, and a mission that’s bigger than music. Now under Dillon Cash at Swaggertown Records and Colossal Records, Huncho is proving he’s ready to move from underground buzz to mainstream momentum.
Born Marquavious Bohannon on July 21, 2003, in Atlanta, Huncho was raised in a home where real music ruled. With R&B and soul legends like Mint Condition and Erykah Badu on repeat, his early influence was rich and timeless. But as he grew, he found his voice in the new wave, artists like Chris Brown, Future, and Lil Wayne, who helped shape his melodic yet gritty approach.
In 2021, Huncho made his first real impact with “Pain In My Cup,” a deeply personal single that gave fans a raw look into his world. The track caught fire online and laid the foundation for what would come next. Recognizing that growth meant change, he dropped the PlugHunxho moniker and stepped forward as Huncho Markk, a name that reflects who he is now.
Fast forward to 2024, Huncho hit the stage for the first time during a charity event, performing “Blessing Me” with Dvybez. It was his live debut, but the way he moved showed veteran-level poise. Just a few months later, on October 4, he dropped his debut mixtape Humbled Youngin, a project filled with truth, hunger, and ambition.
Huncho isn’t chasing a wave. He’s building a legacy. His music reflects pain, growth, and lessons learned. Every verse is rooted in reality, every hook backed by experience. He’s not trying to fit in. He’s trying to stand out.
With a solid team behind him and his focus locked in, Huncho Markk is coming for everything he’s worked for. His goal is simple: to perform for crowds that rap every word before he even touches the mic.
Riverdale has its contender. Huncho Markk is coming for his spot in the game and he’s not letting up.
