Rick Ross is preparing for a massive summer as he officially announced his upcoming album Set In Stone, which is scheduled to arrive on June 12. The project comes at a busy moment for the Maybach Music Group boss, who is also launching a special 20th anniversary tour celebrating his classic debut album, Port Of Miami.
Ross revealed the album news shortly after participating in a high-profile Verzuz battle with longtime collaborator French Montana. The momentum from that appearance has already carried into new music releases, including “Smoking Pt. 2” featuring Max B, which followed the duo’s earlier collaboration “Minks In Miami.”
Although the full tracklist for Set In Stone has not yet been revealed, fans expect more details to surface soon as the release date approaches. The album has already sparked heavy discussion online, particularly around whether Ross plans to address his ongoing tensions with Drake following the chaos surrounding multiple rap feuds throughout 2024.
Beyond the album rollout, Ross is also preparing to hit the road for what he calls the “Black-Tie Experience Orchestra Tour.” The tour will celebrate Port Of Miami with live instrumentation from the Renaissance Orchestra alongside performances from the Sainted Trap Choir, giving fans a reimagined take on the classic project.
The tour begins May 29 in Miami and will conclude three months later in Charlotte. While the performances will center around Port Of Miami, many fans are expecting Ross to preview material from Set In Stone throughout the run as well.
With new music, a major anniversary celebration, and ongoing rap discourse surrounding his name, Rick Ross appears ready to dominate headlines throughout the summer. Whether Set In Stone delivers on the hype remains to be seen, but anticipation is already building for Rozay’s next chapter.
