A: “KOLBIE G. My first name and last initial.“ Q: Where are you from?
A: ”Born and raised in Amsterdam, NY.” Q: What do you do?
A: “I am a fitness trainer. I am the head coach of Orangetheory Fitness Niskayuna, where I’ve had the pleasure of changing thousands of people’s lives through fitness habits! “ Q: How long have you been making music?
A:”I have been making music since I was 13. I put my first couple songs out and got a lot of hate, so I stopped. I made music silently in my dorm room and bedroom until my man Billy Floyd convinced me to start dropping my stuff again. I owe it to him and Jay $way!” Q: Who’s your biggest inspiration?
A: “Justin Bieber no doubt. Nobody can compare.” Q: What genre of music do you create?
A: ”I like to mix a few genres but it’s generally a mix between pop/rap/EDM/indie music!“ Q: What are some features you have?
A: ”Most of my features are just my homies. My only features at the moment are Jay $way and Billy Floyd, but I wouldn’t want it any other way! I hope to work with a bunch of local artists as soon as my music starts taking off.” Q: What are some features you want to get?
A: “I mean the one feature I would love is Justin Bieber. I would love to work with Souly Had one day if he was down!” Q: Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?
A: ”The answer will always be Justin Bieber! If I had to choose someone dead though…Michael Jackson, no doubt.” Q: Are you signed to a label?
A: “Independent as it gets.” Q: Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?
A: “If the time is right, of course. We will know when that is.” Q: Who are your biggest supporters?
A: “My family and my girlfriend, it’s not even close. I have some real close friends who have been with me since the beginning as well that will never be forgotten.” Q: Where did your name come from?
A: “Just my first name, last initial. Usually, I would do Kolb or KG, but There’s only one legend named KG and that’s Kevin Garnett, so I had to switch it up a little.”
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: “I’m working on my latest EP called “Time Machine” it’s over halfway done. Going to release it by the end of summer. 6-7 brand new tracks!” Q: What is your latest release?
A: “Rewind! I just dropped it mid-May! It’s gotten a lot of great feedback! I’m happy I got it out to the public! “ Q: When is your next release?
