Q.) How long have you been making music?I’ve been creating music for over 20 years.
Q.) What was your first song/project?I’ve composed many songs in my passed, but my first official project as an artist I composed is called “Know You” and it’s currently on my new EP 10.23
Q.) Who’s your inspiration?I been inspired by many along the way. The one artist who inspired me the most was pianist Patrice Rushing. Of course she a great jazz musician but what inspired me the most is how she crossed genre’s from jazz to main stream. She composed a song called “Forget Me Not”. The bass line to that song was so killing, Actor Will Smith sampled it and created the song “Men In Black.”
Q.) What genre of music do you create?Hip-hop, R&B, Jazz, Jazz Fusion and Lo-fi
Q.) What are some features you have?J O M i, Kidd Stylezz, Jasmine Cormier, TRIBE, Ahtmose, Dele, DatBoiSkool, Chad Wesselkamper and Marcus Mark The Vibist.
Q.) Who’s one person, dead or alive, that you’d want to work with?Kiefer. I would love to do a project with him. I love his lo-fi instrumental sound on piano.

Q.) Do you want a record deal, a distribution deal, or none?I’m open to a record deal or distribution that works for me. Am I looking for one? No. I’ve been in the music industry long enough to know. It’s about connections and who you know.
Q.) Who are your biggest supporters?My biggest supporters are my twin brother, lady and close friends.

Q.) What’s your favorite music to listen to?Instrumental Lo-fi and myself. I love listening to myself play on Apple Music or Spotify lol.
Q.) What are you currently working on?I’m currently working on a couple different projects, 3 singles. One project is an album. It’s actually done but not released yet, it’s called “The Redemption” album I named the album this is because my release date for this album was 2016 but it was never released. So summertime 2023 this album will get a redemptions.
Q.) What is your latest release?My latest release is EP 10.23 and a single called Dirty Dirty. Check it out on all digital platforms.
Q.) When is your next release?My next release will be Spring 2023.
Q.) Where is one place you want to travel to perform?Amsterdam, Berlin and I would like to travel back to Seoul to perform.
Q.) What’s the biggest crowd that you have performed for?26,000+ people at Houston International Jazz Festival. I was 16 years old.
Q.) Who’s someone you can see yourself on tour with?Chante Cann, Moon Child or Kiefer
Q.) Who produces your music?I produce the majority of my music I have a co- producer his name is Jomi Calhoun known as J O M i. He is a phenomenal musician and producer and also Emmy nominated.
Q.) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?I see myself at the top of my game on tours performing my own music. I’ve performed for so many artist in my pass. But from now to the next 5 years I’m push me Ma’at Musiq with my own live band doin my own original music. Maybe even Grammy nominated.
