Babyface Ray in ‘Waymo Freestyle’

In the heartbeat of Detroit’s hip-hop realm, Babyface Ray conducts a symphony of words that echoes beneath the surface of industry giants like Eminem and Big Sean. This stealthy maestro, hailing from the Michigan scene, brings forth a style that whispers where others shout.

Since his debut in 2014, Babyface Ray’s contributions have been the unsung melody in the rap narrative, often overlooked amidst the cacophony of mainstream attention. The subtle influence of his raspy, conversation-like flows and paired-down production resonates in the soundscape of emerging talents like Veeze and Luh Tyler.

Enter the “Waymo Freestyle” – a masterpiece that unravels the layers of Babyface Ray’s artistry. Spitting over a trippy beat, he crafts verses that transcend the ordinary, cementing his status as a lyricist to watch. While 2023 showcased his productivity with numerous singles and the album “Summer’s Mine,” 2024 sees him poised for a potential breakthrough, ready to claim the spotlight he’s long deserved.
