Tommy Flee is a name that’s been making waves in the underground rap scene, but the Brooklyn artist is just getting started. With 20 years of experience in the game, he’s honed his craft as a rapper, songwriter, and overall creative force. He’s spent his time in the studio perfecting his sound, blending elements of rap, hip-hop, R&B, and drill with an undeniable swagger. His music carries a distinct vibe, with influences from dancehall legends like Vybz Kartel and a deep appreciation for reggae, giving it a sensual yet raw edge.
Tommy’s journey in music started with his first track, In the Cut ft. Cool Drey, but he’s quickly evolved beyond those early days. He’s had the privilege of collaborating with notable names like Fivio Foreign and Sosa Geek, but his sights are set even higher. “If I could work with anyone, it would be Popcaan,” he says, showing his love for Caribbean influence in modern hip-hop.
Though he’s not currently signed to a label, Tommy is eager to take his career to the next level with a distribution deal. The support from his family has kept him grounded through the years, but Tommy’s dreams extend far beyond the studio. He’s currently working on his mixtape, slated for release this year, with his latest single Demure setting the stage for what’s to come. His next release is set for February 24th, and fans are anticipating nothing short of greatness.
When asked where he wants to perform, Tommy doesn’t hesitate: “Dubai.” The ambition in his voice is palpable. It’s clear this is a man with big dreams and a drive to match. He’s already performed in front of crowds as large as 3,000 people, but his goals reach higher. He can easily see himself touring with artists like Rubi Rose, pushing his music to new heights.
“I see myself running my own business, still making music, and creating content in five years,” Tommy reflects. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident. For now, he’s focused on making timeless music, from the studio to the stage.
