C.IV: The Soulful Sound Of New Orleans

When you hear the name C.IV, you’re in for a musical experience that’s as rich and soulful as his hometown of New Orleans. Known for blending R&B and soul in a way that resonates with deep emotion and melodic energy, C.IV is on a journey to carve out his own space in the music industry. The rising artist has been honing his craft for over a decade, and his determination and passion for his art are evident in every track.

“I’ve been making music for 10 years now,” says C.IV. “It started with a project called ‘Homecoming,’ which was my first major step into this world.” Over the years, his sound has evolved, but his love for music has remained constant. Influenced by legends like Tory Lanez and Chris Brown, C.IV creates songs that are as melodic as they are meaningful. His inspirations are evident in the way he weaves heartfelt lyrics with smooth production, creating an unmistakable vibe that’s both fresh and nostalgic.

While he has yet to collaborate with other artists, C.IV dreams of working with one person in particular: “Chris Brown. That’s someone I would love to work with. He’s been a major inspiration to me, and his versatility in music is something I really admire.” Though he’s currently independent and not signed to a major label, C.IV is focused on what’s most important: creating his art and sharing it with the world. He’s not looking for just any deal, though—he’s aiming for a distribution deal that allows him to maintain his creative freedom.

Even though C.IV hasn’t performed for large crowds yet, he’s already looking ahead to the future. “I’d love to perform in Europe one day. The energy there seems incredible.” As he works on his upcoming EP, Dangerous, a collection of 15 love songs, his supporters—especially those on TikTok—continue to rally behind him. He’s set to release his new music soon, and fans can already check out his latest release, Homecoming, now streaming on platforms like Apple Music.
