Detroit Soul Artist Afta5ive Is Ready To Snatch R&B Back

Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, R&B and Soul artist Afta5ive is ready to make his re entrance into the music scene. He’s been making music since the Motown days, and after a 25 year hiatus he’s ready to deliver his debut project, “SAMPLE SIZE”. With experience on his side, Afta5ive is ready to show new R&B crowds what wisdom and skill looks like when it’s developed.

Growing up in the Motor City during the height of its musical renaissance, Afta5ive got a taste of all the action surrounding Detroit music. Drawing influence from legends like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, & The Jackson 5, Afta5ive began making music in the style of his soul music predecessors. That passion lead him to be mentored by Joe Jackson himself, even further propelled by his coincidental shared birthday with fellow Detroit native and Motown Records founder Berry Gordy. After taking a 25 year break from the music world, Afta5ive is back and ready to release his new album “SAMPLE SIZE”. His ability to stay refreshing and innovative after so many years in the game makes his self-described “Emperor of R&B” title a reality.
