Drake’s latest release with comedian Snowd4y has left fans scratching their heads—and laughing. The duo recently dropped a quirky cover of the Plain White T’s classic “Hey There Delilah,” giving it a twist no one saw coming. The track, titled “Wah Gwan Delilah,” features the 6 God and Snowd4y with exaggerated accents, adding a layer of ridiculousness that caught everyone, including the original band, by surprise. Now, they’ve gone one step further by releasing an animated music video that perfectly captures the goofy vibe of the song.
The video doesn’t feature a live-action Drake, though. Instead, we’re treated to an animated Snowd4y, who kicks things off by strumming a guitar against the backdrop of various Toronto landmarks. The real fun begins when Drake appears—rocking a look straight out of his Views era. That’s right, despite his current style, Drake opted for his signature vintage OVO hoodie, throwing it back to a time when he dominated the charts with “Hotline Bling.”
Fans will love the inside jokes scattered throughout the video. From Drake and his crew, OVO Chubbs, texting like teenagers, to the moment Drake lounges with the mysterious Delilah, there are plenty of funny and relatable moments. The video’s animation style resembles something you’d expect from South Park, with simplistic movements and exaggerated facial expressions adding to the hilarity.
And, of course, in true Views fashion, animated Drake eventually ends up perched on the CN Tower, one of the most iconic images of his career. The whole project feels like a playful nod to Drake’s past and his ability to poke fun at himself. For fans of both Drake and Snowd4y, this is a must-watch.
