Pop icon Britney Spears is showing some skin in a new Instagram upload, where she sensually dances to Toni Braxton‘s 1996 hit, “You’re Making Me High.” Spears also shared that she considered the R&B songstress “a God” during her high school years.
Spears’ post, shared Thursday (Oct 31) afternoon, features the “Lucky” singer rocking a black bra and panty set and black boots, hitting a few moves as she teases the camera to Braxton’s alto in the background.
“Toni Braxton was a god to me in high school!!!,” Spears shared within the clip’s caption. “I literally dance and work out every day here !!! I feel so blessed, so incredibly inspired, and alive again !!! God bless.”
Spears is just one of many artists to have cited Braxton as an influence, with Beyoncé even honoring the songstress with her 2018 Halloween costume.
“Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends,” Bey captioned the playful homage. “Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens.”
Kelly Rowland also gave a memorable impersonation of the “Breathe Again” singer on The Jennifer Hudson Show, while Rihanna has noted the same track as a favorite. Braxton even performed it at Riri’s 30th birthday party.
