If Rah Swish was a hooper, coaches would say his energy is what would keep him on the court. He is aggressive, gritty, and tough. The type of player you would love to have on your team but hate to go against. His passion is what makes his music so fire. I personally rock with his music because you can tell he lives everything he raps about. He is a YouTube star with all of his visuals eclipsing over 500K views consistently. Swish Entertainment can’t miss and Rah Swish is the star player.
Check out our interesting conversation below.
First, tell those who do not know who Rah Swish is? Rah Swish: Mr 9 Shots In The Ruger! Rah Swish is one of the hottest young niggas coming out of NY. Rah Swish don’t play no games and I gotta talk in 3rd person because of Rah Swish body different.
How much does growing up in NY play a part in your life?
Rah Swish: It plays a big part. I wouldn’t be who I am today if I wasn’t from here. You learn a lot quick, u grow up quick , the weak gon fold and the strong gon survive. It’s really a jungle.
Many people do not know, that you are apart of the (Never Broke Again) collective. Can you talk about how that came about?
Rah Swish: Couple of my bros I knew since 11 or 12 years old came up with the idea of calling the team they put together “Never Broke Again” Back In 2014 because that was the motto, the goal in life, to never be broke again. We don’t have any affiliation to NBA YoungBoy n them in Louisiana but I ran into them before and it was nothing but love.
You have a dynamic/aggressive style, who inspired you growing up?
Rah Swish: Growing up I ain’t really have no inspiration my aggression came from the streets. Seeing and going through situations affect the way I make music. But if I had to pick an artist I looked up to growing up it would be 50 Cent or Lil Wayne
You are still a relatively new artist. What separates you from the rest of the industry?
Raw Swish: The industry is so broad and dynamic now I don’t think anything separates me from the rest of the industry. It’s just about that one thing that’s gonna break the barrier for me to be at the top of it. If I knew what it took to be at the top I would be there but I do know Proper preparation prevents poor performance and I’m well prepared for this shit
Your YouTube views are always high. How much importance do you place on visuals?
Rah Swish: Honestly at first I wasn’t putting to much time into my videos but my manager be on my heels about that shit so I’m getting it together now. Starting to turn my videos into projects and giving it my all to get the full effect off of the visual
Do you want to get signed or stay independent, and why?
Rah Swish: Getting signed would be good for the plugs a label can offer but signed or independent my work ethic is gonna remain the same and I’m still gonna do what I came here to do.
Lastly, what is next for Rah Swish?
Rah Swish: What’s next? A whole lot of shit. I got a bunch of singles to flood the streets for the summer. Couple features on them. Gotta do some visuals for those. And the fans want a tape so ima give them one. Idk when exactly but my dm’s is flooded about a tape so that’s coming soon.
