Hip hop was created with the primary strength of allowing young, creative youth to create art that reflected the reality of their lives, neighborhoods around them, and the broader social circumstances in which they found themselves. Like everyone else, BeTru uses rap to overcome the streets and the harsh environment he came from.
The Kosovo-born rapper terms music as that which keeps him going despite the challenges life throws at him. Even after the demise of his music partner PM, BeTru continues to release hits and is soon set to release “Forever PM” to celebrate PM’s life.
