HunnitBands The Trap Rapper Out Of D.C. Gearing Up To Drop “Exotic Strangers”

Mo Mahir, also known as HunnitBands, is a Jeweler and Trap Rapper from Washington, D.C. His parents originated from Sudan and his mother is his biggest supporter. Moe is the CEO of Bagdad The Label, his music company. Mo hopes to one day rank top 100 and have an international fan base.

HunnitBands began his career in his engineer’s apartment with his friend, ThaKidOz. His first performance was for a non profit event at the White House. He frequently works with AV8 Studios, Saifo Beatz, Laweezy, and Kyrill on his music. His next project is an album called “Exotic Strangers.” When asked what motivates him to continue chasing his dreams, he told us, “I do it for all my people who can’t, who don’t have the opportunity, whether they are behind bars or back home.”

Even though Mo Mahir is a successful rapper, becoming a jeweler was always one of his dreams. He is the owner of Water Brothers, a luxury diamond and gold custom jeweler. Things haven’t always been easy for him but, as he says, “Heartbreak; it always slows you down in life but you have to keep going.”
