Q: For those just getting familiar with you, how would you describe your sound?
DFG Drizzy: I’d say my music is upbeat and calm at the same time. It gives you a vibe you can move to but also something you can sing along with. It’s real and relatable—that’s important to me.
Q: Who are some artists that inspired your style?
DFG Drizzy: I’ve been inspired by artists like Lil Durk, Drake, Lil Mosey, Polo G, Meek Mill, and Sofaygo. They all bring emotion and energy in different ways, and I try to blend that into my own sound.
Q: What’s your creative process like when making music?
DFG Drizzy: It always starts with the beat. I go through a bunch until I find one I really feel. Once I catch that vibe, I start humming to find a flow, then freestyle from there. I like to keep it natural.
Q: Your new single “NASA” just dropped—what’s the story behind it?
DFG Drizzy: “NASA” is really about my future and how I see my life in the next few years. I talk about money, fame, dealing with haters, and just working harder than ever to get where I want to be. It’s all about leveling up.
Q: Have you been working with any collaborators lately?
DFG Drizzy: Yeah, I’ve worked with my guy 2lee—we dropped a track called “Pacifist.” That’s just the beginning though, we’ve got more coming soon for sure.
Q: What keeps you motivated to keep pushing forward?
DFG Drizzy: Honestly, everything my family and I have been through. Growing up without a father figure, dealing with doubt, going through struggles—that’s what drives me. It makes me dream bigger and work harder.
Q: You’ve built a strong social media presence. How do you connect with your fans online?
DFG Drizzy: I stay active. I post snippets, videos of me singing, and let my supporters give feedback. It helps me stay connected and keeps them involved in the process.
Q: In a scene where a lot of artists follow trends, how do you stay original?
DFG Drizzy: A lot of people try to sound the same, but I just focus on being myself. That’s the most important thing—keeping it real.
Q: Was there a moment when you realized things were starting to take off?
DFG Drizzy: Yeah, when my fourth song hit over 100K streams across platforms. That showed me I was on the right path.
Q: What’s your long-term vision for your career?
DFG Drizzy: I want a long-lasting career—something that can feed generations. As long as my family is good, that’s what matters most.
Q: Any final message to your fans?
DFG Drizzy: It’s never too late to start chasing your dreams—and make sure you have fun doing it.
