1. What is your name?– Brandon Gleese
2. Would you rather have 50k in cash or a perfect credit score, and why?– Perfect credit score. In the world we live in today, credit is king. Having a perfect credit score allows me to have more money accessible through lines of credit than 50k that I can leverage to invest to in turn make more money with little risk. 50k cash is great, but if using it to invest I have more risk.
3. What is your favorite thing about being an entrepreneur?
– My favorite thing about being an entrepreneur is the ability to have my own schedule, Work anywhere and have an unlimited income potential. There is a lot of risk as an entrepreneur but there is great reward with great risk and to me those outweigh any risk. Having the opportunity to be a problem solver and work with people allowing them to grow with me is fulfilling.
4. How has your business changed with covid?– Covid actually had a positive effect on my businesses. Covid brought people to the realization that we must have multiple streams of income in order to manage in life altering situations like a pandemic. Especially passive income.
5. Have you ever thought about quitting? – Sure, I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t. But there’s a saying I like to remind myself in those moments when things are tough or a resolution to situations doesn’t seem like it all comes. “Get knocked down 7 times get back up 8” basically you’re gonna get hit, but get back up and fight on until it works out. Being an entrepreneur you have to SEEK issues because that is the only way for growth. If your business isnt running into issues you have a much larger issue at hand.
6. Favorite Era of music? I- like all eras of music but R&B pop country and rap are my favorite. I appreciate almost all music and its art though, it really just depends on the setting when it comes to what I am listening to.
7. Do you plan on traveling? – Traveling has become a second nature to me. I am the kind of person who can’t sit in one spot for too long without getting antsy, which goes for travelling too. I do not like being in one spot for more than 3 weeks at a time unless absolutely necessary. I’ve visited every state and look forward to seeing many more countries.
8. What was your most memorable moment? – Signing for my business license followed by my first inbound wire. I realized at that moment it’s up to me whether I succeed or fail and I chose success and always will.
9. What was your biggest challenge that you had to overcome during your career? – There are many challenges that I face as a business person. But over my career I would have to say the biggest challenge I face is Trust in others. It is very easy sometimes to see the good in everyone, as it should be. BUT that is when you can lose the most trust you have in people. I have had falling outs in business relationships with partners and employees. Moving forward it is something I am very self aware about.
10. What is the first album you owned?– Doggy Bag by Lil Bow Wow.
11. If we’re going to buy you a drink, what should it be? – Espresso Martini or Hennessy Sidecar
12. What’s a song that has been stuck in your head for days?
– Pipe Down by Drake
